Having gotten around to watching Superbikes 1, what struck me most about the race was how steerable that Panigale was for Checa.

The pass around the outside of - Melandri? - over Lukey Heights in the early laps was barely credible and he also seemed able to take a tighter line than the others at will - well almost at will.

Did seem to lack a bit on the straight tho.

No obvious problem with side grip from that non-flex chassis.

That's probably more Checa than the Ducati...
