Cool beans!
I sent a request to join the FB group. That is where most of my ride report will be anyhow. Leave April 15th...

Trying to pack for a moto trip that includes cold weather desert camping and a work conference in Vegas. This is tough (I know, what a hardship, right?). Can't wait to ride!

But I did a similar trip to Vegas last year. Combined a bussiness trip with a ride. Loads of fun. I did get cold camping at 7000 feet at the snow line. http://rubikonadventures.blogspot.co...-to-vegas.html Have fun, stay warm and ride safe.

I do it the opposite way and carry what I need for the conference or business meeting with me and ship it home as soon as I no longer need it. I did that twice last year. First when I rode from Houston to Washington DC for a conference and then when a court date cropped up in the middle of my already scheduled ride to a rally. On that one I ended up parking the bike at Chicago Midway airport for 2 nights while I flew down to Oklahoma for the hearing, mailed what I didn't need any longer back home on my way to catch my flight back to pick up the bike for the rest of my trip.

I just have a plain gold band...
Working on a farm and with livestock my whole life .. It's always the safest thing to wear... It doesn't catch on anything...

My engagement ring and wedding band. The ring is <0.5 carat single stone so it doesn't protrude too much.

none under the gloves, but I have one of the elastic huge blingy rhinestone do-jobbies that I wear over my glove on my left hand ring finger. That's the only hint besides the rhinestone pink ribbon/breast cancer decals on my helmet that I'm a girl.
I'm still trying to find the waist I lost after having my son 14 years ago - until I do I just wear ill-fitting but comfy short mens gear! I'm thrilled with all the womens gear out there now, but I'm not down to my target weight yet, so no new duds for me until then!

A work in progress

I bought new duds and plan on selling the older/fatter duds on the flea market here.
