Just an update.
6 months and still working really well. The weakest place may be the hole for the pin- LOTSof vibration and mud may eventually wear it fairly oval- but not really a big issue or anything. Great unit. Mark

Very cool product.
WA State has specific mention of plate orientation in the RCW (Revised Code of Washington - aka, state laws) covering license plates, so this product is great for KTMs and similar bikes.
