I think the Kawasaki with Sykes aboard has the best shot, provided they have found a way to make the tires last, which was the problem last year. Honda is getting more factory support this year from HRC, particularly with electronics. If they can get that sorted, they may do better. Personally, I think Honda is treading water until 2014, when the rumored RC213 derived superbike is released. Crescent Suzuki has brought their engine program in-house, which may cure the rumored 30+ HP deficit that the Yoshimura prepped motors had. Camier did pretty well on the GSXR at PI but I think that Suzuki won't be able to mount a legitimate title challenge, although podiums and an occasional win aren't out of the question.

Fours are limited to 1000cc in every Superbike series I can think of.

As are the days of new models every 2-3 years. The current CBR600RR is 7 years old without major revision. I had an 07, great bike but..................

I believe it'd be about 20k for a this-year's model here. IMO the best looking sportbike out there, plus I love the V4 since having a VFR in the past.

All you generaly hear about is Hailwood's comeback IOM TT win on that Ducati. Nice to see he was more then competitive on short circuits as well...without 200cc over his four cylinder rivals!

That 2nd place Kawi had way more power, too. MTB couldn't even hold his draft, and still got past and ran away.
