Well, after nearly 6 months in Manila, I finally found my bike. I just bought a used 2010 BMW F800 GS. Let me know if anyone is up for a weekend ride to explore the area.

Speaking of inmates... last weekend I had the privilage to meet another inmate from the US of A...... URAL CT! (http://www.advrider.com/forums/member.php?u=77759)

I am glad to meet you sir and having sea food for dinner at Metrowalk, while listening to you URAL 2-wheel drive motorcycle with sidecar Dual purpose ADVentures. Looking forward to the next meet. Might visit you in Bicol next month during my annual Bicol ride.

Wow...I stumbled to this particular site, looking for some Phil adventure riding places & dang ...I saw us chowing on the excellent seafood. It was a pleasure meeting ya'lls, plus I had a great time wandering around Metro Walk. Neat place to hang around. Hope to meet up with you again soon.
Maaaan..those places are awesome...I'm afraid I'm out of my league navigating those sloppy mud roads or lack of road. I'll probably hurt myself unless I'm on the Ural 2WD. This is getting very interesting...this time back home in the PI. Maybe it's time I need to find me a light weight scooter or motorcycle to travel around the country. Lots of beautiful places & people.

Charlie T. Welcome to the site. I live here in the PI, I will be 73 in April. I ride a Honda XR 200. It is a pretty nice Dual Sport bike with a button for starting. I don't do too much off road riding any more, but, there are enough places to see that keep one on the pavement.

Look forward to meeting you as well, I'm back in Matabungkay for a few days, we are building our house here, then back to Manila early next and one more visit next week to the house before we return to the US on the 10th. I only have my bike here in batangas. Don't know if you are around in any of these places?

With my Multistrada back online after 2 months of hibernation (waiting for the Ducati Performance Race ECU to arrive), it was back in action! We took it for a spin and initially planned to go around and hang out at Starbucks. But I recievd a text/SMS from an ADV inmate and invited me for a ride in Batangas. And as usual.... I said yes and will bring my daughter with me as pillion.

Another great day spent with an ADV inmate.... Northernstar from Fairbanks, Alaska at his place in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Thanks for a wonderfull day of swimming at the clubhouse, food and allowing me and my daughter to take nap at your house's guest room.

We had an awesome day Frank! See you again by mid 2013 bro!
