Bradshaw Trail (CA) Tire Selection

I have tried searching this with ill results. I am planning on riding from Phoenix AZ, to San Diego in April. My plans include taking the Bradshaw trail from Blythe to the Salton Sea and then thru Anzo-Borrego to San Diego. I will be riding my 2001 KTM640e loaded with my camp gear and Happy-Trails Teton hard panniers. I am currently running Shinko 705 front and rear tires for commuting and cruising around the desert. I also have a set of Dunlop 606's in the garage. Will I be okay with the Shinko's on the Bradshaw Trail? I have been riding desert on MX bikes for ten + years, so I know how to ride off road. Any suggestions or insight on what tires would be best for this trip would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

just did this ride 3? weeks back on my klr with pans. tires? i think any are fine. nothing really very challenging sans a couple of rocky sections i believe you could drive a honda accord the entire length but wouldn't have as much fun

anza borrego, depending the route, you may find sand in the washes

have fun

I'm a 606 and TKC80 fan, but second what slugdad posted.

Get pics of the old bombs and train trestle.
The canal roads section lets you run like a scalded dog.
You'll enjoy it.
