I met Rene at the Vancouver Motorcycle Show, very nice guy. I bought his book which he autographed for me. The photography and story and very good.
This is a nice book for your M/C book shelf and would make a great gift.

Thanks for sharing your adventure with us!
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Rene, then reading his book, which I purchased at the Calgary show. Great adventure, nice photography, and the best part, he LIVED our dream. Hats off to you RENE!

Just wanted to give this a bump. My wife & I met Rene a few years back in Mexico while we were on vacation and he was riding through. Great guy, great photographer (Rene, are you going to produce any more calendars?) and I can't wait to buy a copy of his book. He inspired me to make my own (all too brief and nothing like his adventure) trip down into Mexico and you've got to support a fellow rider like him.

Amazon is out "Currently Unavailable".
Does anyone have suggestions of where I can get a copy of the book? Thanks in advance.

Friendly bump.
Congrats, it was a great read. Very nice photo's and a fun, honest writing style. I'd highly recommend it to others.

Hey Rene, I attended your presentation last night in Ottawa, well done :). I felt bad for you having to answer some of those "odd" questions, lol. Suppose your getting used to it though.
Good luck in your future endeavours, they sound exciting.

Good read!
Hey Rene! It was nice to have a coffee with you when you were in town! And great to hear that the Kanata Chapters agreed to give you some shelf space...it will save some Ottawa buys the shipping fee.
Hope to see you if you come back next year!

Just wanted to say this is a great read and a coffee-table quality made book.
Just so folks know it is available directly from Rene at his website. BMWMOA incorrectly said it was available from Amazon. Thanks Rene! .

Bumped into Rene at the Montreal motorcycle show, was nice to see him again. Pulled his book out to read it again, was as good a read as the first time!
