Slight over-enthusiasm trying to get over the transition into my driveway, and it got just enough away from me that, well, let's just say I don't need a garage door opener anymore.

If there's one thing in life I've learned it's that it's nice to have a big lever.

Big lever action, real s-l-o-w trigger, ever mothers fear, ever hi school girls dream

Once upon a time in a life long, long ago , now only in melancholy memories.

Glad you survived ... albeit with a slightly reduced level of enthusiasm!

Well it is done, I joined the "fog-light club"
Had to do some "accomodation" but they are working now!

but I have 3 screws over, well can't be that important right?

Mc Gyver style: I cut too much cable off so I had to open a powerstrip and take some wiring out. Well the result is there:

Works like a charm

Bought a Rally seat on ebay, hoping for an improvement over the regular seat. Sat on one at the dealer, liked what I felt. Tired of getting pushed into the airbox.

I like it much better than the standard seat. Can't say it feels any different in the foam/softness of it but the shape of it is much improved.

over the weekend...

More work on my tool tube mount:

Full thread is here:
http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=865433

I also replaced the left heated grip, which was ruined an not heating because I knicked element trying to get rid of the sh*tty stock grips. Then I successfully cut off the stock grip from the new one, and mounted Renthals.

Oh... and I test fit my GL bag, because I'd never done it before, and figured I should start now instead of the day I'm trying to leave

The painted windscreen is done. Not sure about white. I ordred a shorter screen from That Other Bike, might just use that instead, or chop the white one down, or...

I still have to paint the tool tube mounts, then I think I'm ready for Death Valley... unless my XM antenna gets here before I leave.
