Barstow 200 went pretty good, I started on the second row with 3 other Senior A teams, got a bad start and had to ride dust for a while. Picked guys off one by one and finished the first 50 mile loop 8th OA and first in class. awesome! nice result even after having to deal with some decent adversity. What I wanna know is, how'd you hit a G out in 5th gear, pop your tire and not crash? What's your rim look like? like mine?

Trust me, it was a 50/50 deal. I got lucky. I haven't looked at it yet, I'm sure there are a few loose spokes

And as far as the GP, I rode my freakin ass off, and I think I got like 8th or 9th, not sure because they don't even show me in the results I know who I finished in front of, so hopefully they get it sorted. GP's are not my strong suit and the Magnum (over 50) race is stacked with various ex pro MXer's and other assorted moto specialists.

I dont know who the guy is that won your race but he destroyed it. He was minutes ahead of the M1 GP guy and that guy was good.
He was the only person I saw come through that left hander before heading back onto the MX track totally wide open and throwing up a rooster tail.
It was a fun one to watch and to be up in the stands yelling for Coyotes!!

looks like his name is Jerry Black. He also won the Senior race too.
He got two 2nd's at Dirt Diggers..... the guy can ride!

I was there on Sunday racing in my new class - Heavyweight Novice. As it turned out it was way more competitive than sane Vet class, a lot of bumping and aggressive riding.

Loved every second of it, finished 6th in my class and 23rd overall (out of 70 starters) Fell in in deep mud my on 1st lap, that was funny but not fun afterwards, riding with wet and slippery left glove / grip.

Overall this was by far the best GP I have ever done - not dusty, not rocky, fast and flowing course, perfect weather and world class track.
