Thanks buddy! I might have the boy in tow. I'm planning on staying at Shannon's house. Maybe I can talk her into coming along after riding. That would be a trip..

I've noticed that when I get really leaned over, I seem to go less fast around the track. I also don't seem to be able to recreate that spinning traction around corners a lot of people seem to do. When I twist the throttle hard leaned over, the rear doesn't spin up. The bike picks up the front wheel and I tend to go straight. I can weight the peg, shift my weight and pitch the bike around, but it just won't turn the way lesser mortals do.

I think, fully geared up for ice riding I tip the scales at right around 310 pounds.

Seriously though, I gave up trying to race people/be the fastest years ago. I just go out and turn laps. Maybe a little cat n mouse here and there but I just don't feel the need to push myself anymore.

Hi, I'm Boomer and I too suffer from lack of breaking it loose in turns. I fear it may be my damnable sense of self preservation.
I'm regretting not getting that front turned around now. oh well, i can suffer 2 more weeks or whatever.

Might you be willing to share any specific information on the shots you displayed in your 2/24/13 Post #961?

Simply STUNNING photography, looks to be very very high shutter speed (1/1000th?) yet fairly open aperature as well.

Please share your equipment and settings.
