Yep, should be fun!

Not 100% aware of the financials, but I do know there have been several, long term improvements, e.g. new roof.

I hope I can make it....

Will ride up from the city of angels Thursdays, barring any delays. Any good lodging recommendations nearby?

Hotel thoughts

Nothing you couldn't find in TripAdvisor, with a few caveats:

1. The clubhouse is quick and easy access from both 101 and downtown, so you don't really need to limit yourself to something in the immediate few blocks.

2. The area itself is pretty, em, industrial. Safe enough for our purposes, but not overly interesting for strolling out the front door of a hotel.

It'll be good to have you. Keep in touch - I'm thinking we'll go for a couple-hour ride on the Friday morning, perhaps up towards Occidental/Rio Nido.

Daniel

I'll be there with my daughter. We're driving back to Tijuana the next day.

I'll definitely be there. Hopefully, my wife will join me. Btw, the place looks spectacular! What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. I'm seriously considering a 750cc membership.

Are there issues bringing my under-18 boys to the clubhouse?

It's a pretty cool place, and by "cool" I also mean functional.

We get together every Wednesday night from 6 to 10 p.m. to work on bikes and talk about working on bikes. Maybe 50% in each category. You're welcome to come one night to check it out, completely free. Send me a PM if you want to drop in sometime (including tonight).

Definitely not a problem for this event. It will be completely family friendly, though there may be people drinking beer if you're sensitive to your kids seeing that sort of thing. .
