I have a Elka shock on my 800 GS . Works very good and is a nice piece . The Oleans I had on was inferior with lack of compression dampening.

Seems to be the best bang for the buck compared to other shocks. Remote preload adjust, full damping adjustment, blah blah. People complain about Ohlins performance, Touratech is more money. Don't know about the rest, but I like the Elka.

I'm waiting on the final pricing but it is looking pretty good.

Would anyone be interested in shocks for around $750 to $900
3-way shock w/out remote preload would be about $750 + shipping
3-way shock w/ remote preload adjuster is about $875 + shipping

No guarantees on pricing until I get enough interest and find out the final pricing numbers. Not sure if they can drop ship of if they would have to come to me and the I'd ship them out from here.

I'm shooting for ordering some next week. :-)

Im in the market for new rear suspension to match the YZ forks i just got for my G650GS. I may be in on this! How will the ordering go through since each shock should be set up different for each rider?

From the Elka website
Quote:
A rider-specific, dual-rate spring set-up provides the plushness and progression needed to improve the stock suspension on BMW Enduro motorcycles, reducing excessive front and back weight transfer (diving and squatting) under acceleration and braking, bottoming out on harsh impacts and front-end pushing when cornering.
I'll take the rider & bike info and payments from those that want the shocks.

Payments via checks or paypal (buyer pays PP fee) + shipping w/ tracking number. I'll find out the shipping cost ASAP and update the thread.

When I receive the payment and rider info I'll put in the order(s). Shocks will be shipped.

You install and ride.

I just received a quote from Hyperpro for around 1228 plus shipping and handling. I replied back that I found elka suspension for a great deal and asked them what they could do as far as coming down on price.

Im about 90% sure that Im in on this. Thanks a lot for enticing me to go ahead with the fully adjustable 900 dollar shock. hahah this bike is getting expensive fast.
