I have CN installed on three different PC's. I also tried to install it on a mac. I am having all kinds of problems unlocking CN on the mac.So far Garmin has not been able to help me. I am using the latest basecamp and it shows the unlock code. All I see is a less detailed CN. Has anybody had the same problem?

Did you get this sorted out? Search for a fix to the map using GMapTool. Perhaps this might be the ticket (it allowed me to see the CN map on base camp when I couldn't at first).

Basically, you get GMapTool. Open your gmapsupp.img (after you backed it up, of course); probably best to take the SD card out of your GPS, put it on a USB adapter, back up the file to your desktop and proceed.

Next, click on Options, and check "advanced options".

Then, click on Write. Check the set version in header, and type 0 in the MS field. Lastly, click on Write Selected at the bottom.

Next, try to open Base Camp and the new map file from the SD reader.

Worth a try if you haven't had success.

How did you do that? I've never got GMAP to work with NT maps, and most of the collective system says it doesn't. If you have a way of doing it, that would be really helpful
