Huh, to my untrained eye it looks like Williams are the only team to have an "inboard" exhaust, closer to the centerline than the outside. And they have a bump on the outside (for coanda,, presumably.)

good eye.... remember it took Williams a long time to go this route

looks like Red Bull is also a bit "inboard" and has a bump

Buddy of mine pinged me today about going to the Austin race. I was all in until I saw the prices. Holy cow! almost $300 for general admission and another $400 for a Grandstand seat at turn 11

And I'm not sure you can get a paddock pass either (at least for reasonable money) like you can at one of the European rounds. It's almost worth flying to Belgium, take in the Spa race and have a nice vacation in the region for the cost of a weekend in Texas.

In regards to Austin beginning to price itself out of its own market, Will Buxton tweeted: "If that's what Austin wants, it's going the right way about it. "How was Austin?" we'll be asked. "Don't know. But San Antonio was awesome!"

He said so in the same manner that the people that pay their own way stay in Dubai and not Abu Dhabi for that race since it also priced itself too high for too many.

that track in Austin looks nice though

saw something saying staying in Austin was going to be the equivalent of doing Monaco.... I know where I'd rather be I think

Grip in the turns is more important than top speed, but it is amusing to sometimes see a trailing car use its DRS and still not be able to pass a car in front which is not using DRS but which has a higher top speed. Sometimes DRS isn't enough.

FP2 will be live on TV at every event. FP1 and FP3 streamed live online.
