I was going to send an e-mail but then remembered you were out of the country. This would have been a good group to ride with since there were several 1st-timers.

Did this ride again last week. Conditions are dry and slippery, causing us to spend most of the daylight hours going only 26 miles total. lol

Cool RR, my kind of stuff, there is a high gnar factor in these AZ desert ST. Seems that over the years from the OP's
original report, the trail is much more eroded. The deep ruts are half the battle to negotiate. Is that from the unusually
heavy rains earlier this year ?

That's what I thought to. After riding them though I actually enjoy the challenge. Anybody can ride smooth trails. These beat up, rutted, rocky trails are really a blast.
