The Hurricanes/ Crusaders game is how rugby is supposed to be played.
Brilliant footy.

Half time and the Highlanders looking like shot ducks. Can they come back? Big turnaround from the Cheetahs.

That's funny, I went to a game last week where the Chiefs penetrated them by 45-3

I went to a US club game this weekend.
Old friends of the family, their dad started the NYAC Rugby club 40 yrs ago & they were honoring the original club. The top end of club rugby has changed in the last 20 yrs in the US. They had a Super League, but they have reformed that as well (travel expenses were a killer for clubs w/out lots of $$ - these are amateurs) But these guys are way better than when I played, very few of the guys I played with could crack the line up now. But on a awesome pitch in Pelham, NY @ the NYAC home turf, they played a great game against a very good Canada team - Ontario. NYAC was leading after the 1st 40, but the Canucks big men, with a great rolling maul, piled on the points at the end. It was good to see live rugby again.

Did y'all send a squad to Baltimore-Cheasapeake's Rites of Spring tournament? They held it Saturday (May 4). I play on the Old Boys squad. We play 3 games a year, and we had our old boys home game yesterday. Today I feel like a truck hit me. Getting older sucks!
