Thanks for sharing your really deep thoughts. Just sayin' .

I was just thinking the muffler looks really sharp... that's my positive contribution to this thread

Thanks for the heads up on the location of 2...count 'em...2 NEW 2013 R1200GS.

In a small town of 2,239 people in an area of 1.2 square miles...it shouldn't be hard to find them...I mean...you!!

Lucky bastard.

Okay, okay, okay. I has question.

Why does the exhaust exit the head, turn FORWARD into a tight kink only to bend rearward again? Why not relax the bends and exit down and rearward right off the bottom of the head? Looks a bit convoluted, eh?

Nice looking bike otherwise. But who here would rather have an HP2e vs a water cooled GS?

Exhaust probably routes like that because it has to be a certain length to perform best which makes it not look the best. Rather have it work better than look better.

When the new GS arrives then I'll be lucky enough to have both.

Dealer emailed today saying they may get 4 launch bikes in this month before the one I have on order comes in. If one of them is equipped right I will snag it right away. Congrats to all those have picked up their new bikes. Keep the pictures coming.

I would expect then pretty soon. I was at my dealer last weekend and he had received the luggage ( Vario ) for the bikes he has coming in the first round. Bags look the same but have a different mounting system.

They are also different size from the previous ones...top case bigger in the non expanded mode and vice versa for the side cases. But this is supposed to be a picture thread for the new GS so we'll probably get booted over to the other thread. You guys know about the the sticky thread for the new GS, right?

To others, if you're here to rain on their parade, we ask you to read the posted rules in GSpot. The negativity has been punted..

Good rules they are too. This forum is so much more pleasant to visit than others I can think of
