Congratulations! Looks like a sweet WRR there.

Be careful with those stock tires off road. That bike is capable of writing checks in off road conditions that the pretty good on the street but marginal in the off road tires are not able to deliver on. Such is the compromise of a true dual sport.

You bought the perfect bike. For all you east coasters the interstate speed limit in Oregon is 65, Washington its 70. We have kick ass single track within 40 miles of Vancouver and Portland.
The bike you bought has plenty of highway capability for the Northwest. I'm 6'6" and 250 lbs. and bitched about picking up my XR 650 R. Hell I bitched about picking up my CR 500 R! The thought of you trying to pick up a BMW 650 or a DR 650 on Northwest single track made me wince especially for the times when you fall to the down hill side. Ride the crap out of that thing and upgrade it as you become a better rider. Make sure you buy good gear....that's waterproof.

I never would have picked this bike if it weren't for the people on this forum. I never even considered a 250. But I agree - it is absolutely the perfect bike for me and my skill level Thanks so much guys!!!
