Half tarded?

So I've got a DR 650 and I've really been wanting to put some super motard wheels and tires on it but the price of these things is killin me! Would anything be wrong with doing just the front wheel? I mean the back is already 17". I know it would be wider with the motard rim but for now why not? Thanks for any input. By the way this is my first post on here, this site rules!

The main issue with the rear on the DR is it can't handle premium sticky rubber. For the most part the smallest width for proper sticky rear tires is 150. Not the end of the world with some of the 90/10 tires on the market though.
