I don't think there's much shame in being best of the non-aliens. Seemed to me Dovizioso's most questionable complaining was that he was well ahead of Simoncelli in the standings toward the end of 2011, but because of Simoncelli's popularity, #58 got the Gresini factory Honda instead of him. I don't think that's unreasonable, really.

He's already showing pretty good speed on the Ducati relative Hayden.

Lets not rank the pros with the amateurs. Very few could sustain Hunt's lifestyle; and he's still at it.

It's been pretty widely reported that Rossi enjoys a smoke and a drink.

You never see him out pedaling a bicycle. I am not sure that modern levels of fitness apply to him.

The stories of James Hunt and Barry Sheen partying together are nuts. Ron Howard is making a movie called rush about the 1975 F1 Champ. I hope its true to form with Hunt screwing girls right and left even at the track.

Rossi's a runner, not a cyclist. He hated it after he broke his leg, he couldn't run on it, so he had to swim and use a stationary bike.

I can't see the pic here at work(damn firewalls) but James Hunt has been dead since 1993.

I like to think he's still going strong in the afterlife.

True and I can see his point really. He just had a few comments that struck me as being whiny so ended up getting stuck in the "I don't like you catagory" also since Stoner's gone I have to have SOMEONE to bitch about don't I? I'll probably like him even less when he starts commenting on the Ducati lol. Oof, I hope they can get the bike to do SOMETHING this year.

Interesting documentary! Only bad thing to say about Sheene was when Jarno Saarinen died in Monza and his beatiful wife Soili was left widowed. Back then Jarno and Soili were the couple on the paddock and images of Soili in her bikinis during the races did grab some media and public attention, to say the least After Jarno's dead, Sheene tried desperately to hit on Soili and even travelled to Finland just for the sole purpose of see Soili to try to start a relationship with her while she was still mourning because of the loss of Jarno. Bit of dick move to try hit on your mate's girl, especially right after the accident
