I would say Tyne Cot cemetery is a must; very moving and thought provoking. Also the nightly Last Post service at the Menin Gate, although you probably know that already.

There is a very good museum in the Cloth Hall in the town centre and the ramparts are very interesting too. I'd say just ride around the area and you'll see many small cemeteries and places of historical and emotive interest.

Enjoy your trip.

There are 2 cemeteries that should not be missed.
Tyne Cot has already been mentioned. The other is the German cemetery in Vladslo. Its understated sadness is at least as impressive as the grandeur of Tyne Cot. Even though the "grieving parents" statue may have been moved inside somewhere for the winter.

Also, you can visit the "dodengang" (corridor of the dead) near Diksmuide. It is a reproduction of the trenches near the river Yser.

Diksmuide is a must see. There, you can visit the profoundly moving de ijzertoren (Google that for best effect) and walk through remains of the actual trenches. The town itself is charming and beautifully situated on the Yser river. I spent the whole of last summer criss-crossing Belgium, clocked 3,000 kilometers, and to this day Diksmuide and de ijzertoren still dwell in my mind.

Be sure to also visit the new (last summer) exhibits of the In Flanders Fields museum in Ypres.
