Wilson Combat, famous manufacturer of premium 1911 pistols and AR-15 rifles, had put themselves on the ever-growing list of manufacturers who are making it a matter of policy to not supply law enforcement in states with prohibitive gun control.
Simply put, if your people don’t have access to the guns they want, neither can your police. “Wilson Combat will no longer provide any products or services to any State Government imposing legislation that infringes on the Second Amendment rights of its law-abiding citizens. This includes any Law Enforcement Department, Law Enforcement Officers, or any State Government Entity or Employee of such an entity. This also applies to any local municipality imposing such infringements. “States currently included in our No-Sale Policy are: California, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C. and Chicago, Illinois. “Wilson Combat will in no way support the government of these states or their anti-gun agenda that only limits the rights of law-abiding citizens. Wilson Combat will continue to supply any product and/or service they can legally sell in these states to all non-government affiliated citizens.” Magpul too Back in 1990, when I was deployed in Desert Shield and Desert Storm as a Marine grunt, some companies prioritized me items for my M16 for shipping that I purchased with my own funds. After getting out and forming Magpul in 1999, I established the same priority policy for Military and Law Enforcement, due to the requirements of their profession. The same policy has been in place for 13 years now and has never been an issue until a few days ago. I do not support the idea that individual police officers should be punished for the actions of their elected officials. That said, I understand the concerns that some have with Law Enforcement officers getting special treatment while at the same time denouncing second amendment rights to another citizen in the same state. With the fight in Colorado right now we do not have time to implement a new program, so I have suspended all LE sales to ban states until we can implement a system wherein any Law Enforcement Officer buying for duty use will have to promise to uphold their oath to the US Constitution — specifically the second and fourteenth amendments — as it applies to all citizens. Damn shame that Glock, Ruger, S&W, & other big gun makers (as a matter of fact all the gun makers) aren't on that list. I would think that would get the attention of those states in question.
Ahhh... the power of $$$$!

Anyone who believes "we" are the media, is like a lemming... and ultimately the cliffs will sort them out. It is easy to call a cautious man paranoid, but anyone not fearful of an obscured cliff, hits the bottom just as hard. Anyone tries to drag me over that cliff with them, risks being shot. I still value life, liberty, and hearing lemmings scream "This is allllllllll someone Else's fault".... Splat
