I wouldn't recommend camping anywhere near there. This is on the San Carlos reservation so camp at your own risk. And c'mon guys, the road isn't that bad. I did it on my VFR.

So the Gila river is SUPPOSED to have water in it? I crossed it today and it was dry as a bone (as always) the only time I see water is when it's raining. (BTW was riding just south of Phoenix)

Hey BigDog, the dam, river (Gila) and reservoir (San Carlos) are all on the San Carlos Indian Reservation, so permits are
