I like it a lot!
To make the competition with other 1200s I would though make a more confy back seat!

Ciao

Nic

Early sketch

Nice image, Ghostrider, and it does look a lot more attractive.

It appears this was an approach they considered:

More here. (These are claimed to be Kiska development sketches, but I can't confirm their authenticity).

The high pipes are certainly neater, and allow symmetrical panniers. So why that low-slung monstrosity they've ended up with?

Possibly multiple reasons, beginning with the muffler needing a lot more volume to handle gas-flow for 1200cc and 150hp. That implies more weight up high also, and packaging issues. And using a single CAT probably helps hold down costs.

Cry Sweet baby Jesus . . .

. . . I wish it looked that good!
I want one bad but I'm so disappointed with how it looks.
Thanks, but now seeing how it could look . . . I'm even more disappointed.

I agree! (for the black/white one, not the orange one)

But i would also put the orange crash bars back on it and even the little black window of the normal R. And the Power Parts comfort seat. And the normal back grips for the passenger. And the aux lights. And the 1190 swingarm.

That would be great!

Pretty much any of them are better than what came out in the end, the biggest single mistake is the fugly bin stuck on the side, really cannot see how it's better in any way than the twin under seat cans. The second error is loosing the twin tanks, really kind of lost its family identity there and just looks like all the other stuff out there.

Oh well, here's hoping Honda's new AT hits the mark.

Nice, but i would miss the split-tank system.
When du you create the Havoc-SXS-ECO-Killer version?

Hows it differ from the original. How about a side by side comparison?
