I did take a quick ride around the arena this afternoon- but left the camera in the house. I will post again once I get in a real ride on it, otherwise, that's it for now!

Wow, that is the BEST looking XT225 ive seen, very nice, you did a great job, should be very proud of yourself!!

That headlight and front fender, along with the bigger tank and the handguards, looks awesome!

Looks great, thanks for sharing your build story! I don't have similar bike building skills, but I really enjoyed reading this and maybe learned something as well. Best luck for your new bike, hopefully spring will be here soon.

Thanks! I am pretty happy with how it turned out!

I certainly learned a lot doing this- glad I had my husband (and Crookshanks of course) giving me good instructions

Fantastic project! Your bike looks great and I'm sure you'll enjoy it during the 90 minutes of summer you guys get up there! :)

It's great to see work done right by people who know what they are doing and enjoying themselves in the process.

Of course, Crookshanks looks like quite the taskmaster, so I'm not sure you two had much choice!

I haven't yet, but with all the work he put into this project I am going to have to figure out how and where to attach his carrier!

Thanks TexBiker- all the credit for looking like we knew what we are doing goes to Jerry (shoein). I just did what he told me to!
