Oh she gets dirty. Here's a pic after riding the ol' Milwaukee electric train railroad tunnels from Idaho to Montana. Just wash in warm water and tumble dry. No bleach.

But to be honest coming from a very experience motocross background I can't see doing much other than logging road etc on these. There are too many other bikes Id choose to hit trails and get crazy. I absolutely love the GSA simply because its an absolute road killing monster! Heck I just rode her from CA to WA last week during that big storm and we did 2 days of snow. It was epic! I had a 1 hr mtg at a job site and didn't want to fly.
This was the radar the day I departed WA to come home. 3 days 2200 miles. Up I5 to 97, back down 800 miles of OR and CA coastline. Then I washed her to give a nice post!

I bought the same BMW EU turn signals in Germany and took them to Canada, worked on my 2010 without any adjustments.

Aren't the same ones available in North America? Did you also need to purchase the wiring?

I hear you - I'm no offroad expert, but I do enjoy the miles of logging roads that the GSA eats up for lunch. Not to mention its highway capability for 2-up touring; it beats my Harley road couch Street Glide in every way possible. Well, proper cruise control and a radio are kinda nice for the long-haul on the Harley, but otherwise....hands-down.

I love the plates that cover the tank guards - where did you find them? uber-kuhl.

Tank guards are ebay....they are ok, but i think they fade rather easily.
To get the radio back just add XM to a Zumo. Makes the ride oh so nice.
Ditto on the proper cruise control...im not in love with the dial type avail on the aftermarket but its better than nothing i guess. Plus if i find myself on a road that makes me stay at the same pace too long.....I chose the wrong route!!
