OP designation
On the Digital Grin vBulletin forum, when a thread is started the two letters "OP" appear next to the thread starters name. I like that. Would that be something that could be added here? Both forums run the same version of vBulletin.

I'm curious, is that throughout the thread? So if I start a thread, will every post I make in that thread have OP in the title? That'd actually be nice.

I found a mod for vbulletin that does what GSBiker describes but.... I'm not sure it's compatible with the version Baldy is running.

I looked into it and it's not a menu option that can be selected. In order to have OP designation next to the OP's username, we have to add an html script code to site layout template. We'd have to ask Baldy's IT elves to do so when we upgrade the vB software.

At this point, I would like to say..... vBulletin sucks. I converted my forum from vB to xenforo, a forum script built by some of the original developers of vB. I, along with thousands of others who have fled, love the script.

What if we're ashamed of the threads we start and have an overwhelming sense of regret afterwards; constantly reminded, nay! haunted by those little letters... op.... OP.... OP!! ![]()

It's an interesting feature, kind of, but I'm not really seeing the value.
![]() I've never had any problem figuring out who was the OP.
