seat stapler

Anyone have a good upholstery shop recommendation for air stapling a new foam and cover onto my DR seat pan? Would like a no-BS, affordable spot that is familiar with motos.

I don't have air tools or access to a stapler and would rather a semi-fessional do it for me for $20.

Preferably Brooklyn or southern QNS

Did you have one of the ones that stands upright normally that you lay on its side to be an oil pan with the little yellow snap in cover for the drain hole?

I never liked those for their intended purpose, which was to store them upright with oil in them.

I like the blitz container that uses a large threaded cover over a honeycomb grill. Easier to keep the outside of it clean.

Also, I empty the oil into the jugs they come in or I use milk\juice\soda bottles. Any garage or auto parts store should take it.

You don't need an air stapler, a regular industrial one work just fine. Do you have the cover and foam? You just need it physically stapled on?

Correct. I will have them in hand next week, been waiting to order until I find a means to install 'em. Industrial or air: neither do I have or have access to at my office job. ;0

same here, a funnel and a 40oz screw top worked for me last time, pour it out at a garage and dump the 40oz, only costs $1.50 and a headache

No indication of that. Just seems to be a fan, who can play.

parking on 36th and dyer median

had a few questions from members about this "parking" area. brought the bike there again today.

it's only 2 minutes or so closer to my office, but it isn't street parking which means i don't need to worry about a car knocking the bike over or even just love tapping it, as compared to 44th street "legal" parking. pff. legal.

dunno. i did get a ticket there (36th and dyer) once, fought it by mail and was found guilty, paid it based in part on advice here. guess i'll count that risk of an occasional $125 parking ticket as my parking costs. kinda leaning towards there over the alternate side parking spots on 44th.
