Today's Paper:

SUP-er completes Everglades Challenge

Shane Perrin of St. Louis became the first standup paddleboarder to complete the 300-mile Everglades Challenge from Ft. DeSoto to Key Largo last week. Perrin, who battled high winds and seas, finished in 6 days, 9 hours, 26 minutes. The 37-year-old almost quit after his gear was stolen at Marco Island marina as he slept. But friends and Facebook supporters bought or donated equipment and he pressed on. Then, he paddled to Key West.

...this year's race featured some of rthe roughest conditions in the event's 13 year history. The watercraft included everything from sea kayaks to outrigger canoes. A 19 foot catamaran started taking on water off Venice and capsized. A police boat arrived three hours later.

Sittin' here thinking about Mobeer and Motogirl camping in the Keys at the Pirate Rally

Sure is a good thing they decided to take their motorhome this year

Looks to be raining like a mofo down there this morning

At least where they're camping the ground is all rock so little mud to be tracking with all the peeps I'm sure they're hosting inside

Looking above at this

Makes me wish I had more dark beer here

But come to think of it...

I believe there's one more Sierra Torpedo out in the garage
