Wassup Portland Friday Night 3/22

Hey, Kids!

Anybody want to hang out in Portland(ish area) on Friday 3/22? I'm going to be passing through on my way to California and Death Valley. I don't know anything about Portland. We could meet for a beer and I will ask lots of questions about riding around Portland and then it will get late and then I'll be sleepy for my long haul south on Saturday and then we'll be friends and have good stories to tell later about how I know this guy and he told me blah blah blah because we were drinking. Or something like that.

Supposing you're all busy, and nobody wants to meet up, I'd like suggestions on a cheap hotel that's near a good place to get some local beer and good food.

edit: this is not on my cheep side of the spectrum, but local beer made on site usually (or at least in the same county) good food and good pub vibe.
