I nearly dropped this line at at the end of a dinner function last night. I was by far the youngest person and somebody asked "You guys know what day it is right??"

I said nothing. Then they brought out pie.

How 'bout some pie..?

My widowed Mom pays for my slave labor with home-made Gravenstein apple pies - frozen, uncooked, by the dozen . I just picked up some Tillamook french vanilla ice cream at the store and slipped one of those bad boys into the oven a bit ago!!

Got the flu and feel like shit, but Mom's apple pie will make it all better .
