I am not sure of the exact time, but it must come before beerthirty, because you always drink the good stuff first, right?

out of towner, meets-up..

Yesterday I decided on a road trip to Eugene, and drove up on the Super Cub. The trip up is in pictures mostly, I'm of the opinion that spring is a little earlier this year, certainly wasn't that cold on the trip up. I did manage to hit just about every road work traffic stop that one could choose by randomly selecting a route hoping to avoid such delays..

The trip up temps were nice, and once I reached the Willamette valley there was a bit of fruit blossom scent to the air. Should have taken more roadside pictures.

pictures in no particular order..

gotta stop and have some food, near some familiar alleyways..

the 3 Sisters poking their heads over the foothills..

doesn't look like spring but it's there if you look close.

and finally got to visit with Peterman, who also had Del down for a visit.

This ends my Thursday daytrip photo essay.

yer welcome..

Hay that was taken from inside the New Day Bakery! It would be a good place to meet for breakfast, especially in the summer.

I've known about and been a customer of New Day for years. Back when they where across the alleyway from Red Barn Grocery.

I've been trying to get some of you YooGeen Yahoos to meet there for a spring morning start on running a Whittaker alleyway sweeper.

Good times! So many memories of good trips, good friends, and good rides

Also a subtle reminder that "what happens in Man Camp, stays on Oeste's SD card..."

Sometimes I need to remind myself.....it's about getting out to ride and make memories before it's too late!

Possesions are merely tools used to make memories. When we are gone, those worldly possesions will belong to someone else, but the memories will always belong to those you made them with.
