I finally got around to installing some new grips...i think i gave myself a blister putting them on...but they should be much better than my old ones which no longer even had a pattern on them.

Next for the week is to finish the gobi plastic hinge replacements with some custom denier nylon ones and fix the oil leak on the shifter position sensor.

Installed a new set I ordered from Rocky Mountain $ 532.00+ free shipping.

Pretty straight forward to install; it took me about an hour and 20 min. to install. They are pretty loud without the spark arrestors, so i think I'll try those tonight.

I chose the Leo's over the FMF only because the FMF mufflers look to short.

Had a few stickers laying around so I figured why not slap them all on the Dirty Dak and move up the "Poser" latter.

What's the effect of having the forks so far thru the yokes?

Can't really say since I had SPS up the suspension to 265 mm right after I got the bike. As far as I can tell, the bike handles fine, but can't really compare it to anything...

The only reason for this was to lower the front end so I can touch the ground... I'm 5.7 with 28" inseam .

Got this from Duel Sport Armory today:

Followed the instructions in this video step by step:

Remove the clutch cover:

Remove clutch plate cover:

Remove friction plates and replace them with the Rekluse provided plates:

Insert Rekluse EXP friction disk:

Install Rekluse clutch slave:

Make adjustments and take it for short test ride:

So simple to do and such a HUGE difference! This mod makes it so much easier to manage the bike, especially since I can hardly reach the ground...

I would think that it steers super fast and sucks in the sand.

Best mod ever - makes a world of difference in the slow technical stuff. Oh, and makes traffic a breeze.
