That ugly big tank doesn't look good on your bike ... but I can help you with that!

About time I added mine I suppose

I'm a long-term ADVR lurker -usually in Racing - and even longer-term G/S owner. I bought #751 in 2003 partly converted - from another inmate, see this thread http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=415637

Over the years it's evolved a bit, from this:

via this:

to this:

I'm not using it much at the moment - I'm spending too much time racing something a bit smaller. However, this thread has inspired me to get it back on (off) the road. All I need to do is find an exceptional alloy welder in the UK who can grind-out and re-do the welds on the swing-arm and I'll be away! Recommendations welcome

From one inmate to another.

Just got R80G/S 2082. Bought it from MNrider earlier this month. I plan to just clean it up and put it back to stock.

I must say Federal Transport did a very good job shipping the bike. It came in looking exactly as it does in the photos.

Last pic from MNrider before it got to me. Going to see it in person as soon as I get off work.

He made his own. Looks sturdier than the Migsel stand. The Migsel looks like a quarter taped to a pencil in comparison.
