to get an idea of how it works. We're trying to link in more closely with Relay for Life events in local areas now as that proves mutually beneficial for both fundraising efforts. It's pretty easy, choose a R4L event, plan a ride (road or ADV) that incorporates a visit to the R4L event and let us know and we'll get it up on the website and plug it relentlessly here on ADV Rider (as much as the mods will let us). Hi everyone, this year we are trialling online donations for the Tassie ride which starts on 22nd March, with a grand opening by the Governor of Tassie at the Penguin Relay for Life.

I will be in touch for the other states shortly, and we will take about 18months to do the transition to pick up each states Relay's, but thus far we have Tassie and looking at November for Vic with the Alpine Ride. We are keen to go to Qld for the Relay. I will look up dates and post for everyone.

There's heaps of info on the 2013 Tassie MAC Ride out there but the Tassie riders prefer to use Facebook to communicate quickly with photo's and stories of the ride. Jacq will be putting up the formal page on the Motorcycling against Cancer website and we will be now organising the other states. We expect with the change of format to take 18 months to align to Relay for Life's. We had a great success with Tassie as the Governor of Tasmania opened the ride and have stronger support if we start the ride from the official Relays. We also have an online donation page now, which will be set up for each state. Hold tight and we will be in touch shortly.
