Getting the jump on Spring
Eklutna: This afternoon 25* Clear and Sunny
![]() ![]() I guess it's a little to early for a ice cream ![]() For the most part the road is fairly clear BUT ![]() There is a lot of ice, black ice, and glaciation happening on the road Plus there is just tons of sand in that eight mile stretch that would make it very unsettling if you didn't watch your speed But it was a great day

Awesome photo! I like your winter riding style.
My main passion in winter is "riding" boards - but they are skinny skis compared to your wide board. Spring skiing has been incredible, almost warm enough to wear shorts and tank top. ![]() We didn't want to go home, so we stopped to "smell the roses" and soak up some much appreciated sunshine. Snoring was optional. ![]() ![]() Two-wheel riding season isn't far off, but we sure hope to get some more fantastic backcountry ski (touring) trips in!

Nenana River ice is thick and polished! Lots of fun boondocking and drifting out there.

Are those pics from last year or is your camera set wrong? I'm in Palmer if you want to grab a coffee or something this weekend.

You'll have to ask Bob(Alaskahack) about that one. I finished my testing for APD today, anyone have any other leads for jobs in AK? I feel good about APD but I'd like to take advantage of my time while I'm here and interview for as many jobs as possible.

This happened this afternoon i've tried to reset it a couple of times and just gave up.
I'm up for coffee give me a day and time. He is going back to Whitehorse next week, he's toured Alaska 2 summers ago, and felt a need to do it in the winter. I think he's going down to lower 48 for a while.
