I'd like to buy it on E-bay as it's a lot cheaper then CJ & al.
But I don't want sprockets made out old sardine tins, i want to skip a link in the retail chain. Some prices out by the reputable dealers are double E-bay ![]() Hopefully it's the same chain, made by slaves in China

Ironman Sprockets
http://www.dirttricks.com/ordering_sprockets.htm Not the cheapest but will last 2-3 chains.

http://www.ktm-parts.com/
or http://www.hondaktm.com/ are a couple mail order places that I have confidence in - as opposed to www.ktmcyclehutt.com, don't use them. There's a whole thread here devoted to giving you reasons why you should avoid them.

Stealth/Sidewinder/Krause racing sells the (in my opinion), best sprockets. They'll deal direct with you. I bought a DID ZVM 525 off EBay for about $200.

I am pretty thrifty about spending money on bike parts, with two major exceptions, tires and chain/sprockets. Not having to adjust the chain every week, noise, wearing out the sprockets, etc... A little extra money spend now will save you money in the long run. No problem buying on Ebay as long as it's apples to apples. I have bought the same item cheaper online rather than Ebay. Don't settle for a lesser chain to save a few bucks now.
