I see a theme running here. Very nice look. What is the tank/radiator shroud made of?

i welded sheetmetal to a stock xrl tank to add more fuel capacity and airflow over the motor. i think this tank i built held around 6.2 gallons. this is a before pic of the tank before i did some bodywork and paint.

Why don't you try a self supporting subframe tank.... notmybikemodelname made one for his bike out of carbon fiber...

if he ever gets his bike back together. Not sure how it would work in metal. The new KTM 690s have plastic ones now.

The main thing is I don't want to be stranded b/c of these but I would like to be able to do these. Any pics of how you have yours set up would be great.
I bought this one from BatteryStuff.com it cost 63.00 in 2011.

Has anyone tried the explorer shock from Touratech? As a noob, what riding characteristics can I expect from an upgraded shock? I'm about 215 in my birthday suit. I might also throw in the Touratech progressive springs as well.

I'm sending my shorai battery and hope they trade in on warranty. If so I might end up with the larger shorai battery if I pay the difference.
