Yes I agree those two three letter words Mom and Dad can cause so much crap .

There is much more to life than title's ..

Enjoy life! If it comes it does, if not ,no matter its all about Quality time well spent !!

Ive been on all sides of that issue

Having lived this "what to call me" issue, I just let them decide. I was Bob to one and Dad to the other. I am happy with both, but it sure is nice when they decide to call you dad. My 2 cents.

This is her first ride on my rig, my other daughter has already been out on it. I needed to clear my head today (probably losing my job this week - yay! yet another cosmic kick in the nuts) and she wanted to go. Went out trying to find this lake and found the park closed when we got there. Gate was wide open though and we went in anyway. Had the place to ourselves.

nwcycle's daughter is a one-of-a-kind. I wish my son was ten years older and we lived a lot closer.

Seeing pics of your daughter always reminds me of the ONE woman maintenance technician out of about 150 we have at my work. She is the nicest person and knows her stuff, and can handle her own with all the macho guys here. That, and I've seen her outside of work a few times and DAYUM - the girl can dress to impress. I'd wager she is a catch if she finds a guy who can keep up with her. Hope your daughter doesn't compromise when it comes time to find one - she deserves the best just from what I've seen on here.

Thanks

She is quite the all around girl, yes she does awesome at about everything she tackles, she has actually had a tough time trying to get a guy who wants to attempt to date her, They are a bit intimidated with her once they find out what she has accomplish in her 17 yrs.
She was invited to Spring training with the Sherco team this week along with her brother, She got as far as putting pistons in, and remember about the ring side up and the little details, but left the torquing to me, but I showed her again.
She is everything a cycling dad could ask for, and then some, she has advanced past any type of trials obstacles I would even attempt now, She will be riding the Nationals this year along with the OMA Off road series.
Gentlemen, you will here this many times.... it all goes so fast, CHERISH YOUR BABIES !!!,

Thanks so much for the kind comments......

Very impressive, cherish these times,my oldest daughter is now 28 and I have such fond memories of her riding through the woods with me on my old dirt bikes. It was so funny when we'd come back from a short ride, and when I got ready to go riding with the guy's,she would cry so hard cause she couldn't go.The only way I could get her to stop, was a promise to give her a ride when I got back, that would put a smile back on her face. For thoughs with the problem ex-wives,been there, done that,I've been re-married to a great girl for 12 yrs,and my ex is a lonely old bitty.Guess who got the best out of this deal? So hang in there, and get on with your life, you and your little girls will be that much happier. By the way,I'm in the process of buying a 09 Wee. My first Adventure bike,at 55 yrs old.I've had many dirt bikes and many road bikes,Time for something in-between.I ride roads for the most part, the reason for the Wee.
