Decreasing/increasing radius curves were counted as more than one turn. AS was stated online somewhere, anytime there was an input to the handlebars, that was a curve. I wish I could remember where I saw that.

If that is the case, I know a section with 600 turns in 17 miles (359 legit corners), with NO cops, NO trafic, and NO lowered speed limit

Sounds like Government math to me.
