Does the dimmer harness make it possible to reduce the output of the lights or is it just on/off with the high beam link? Can you dim them so they are at 50% output when there is oncoming traffic?

I was trying to find it on the website, but couldn't locate the harness part.

Thanks

Thanks for asking
The dimmer harness allows the lights to dim to 50% via our 3 way handle bar mounted switch or threw your high beam switch.
The harness is not sold separately. Ill have some wording put on the site about the dimming function, Thanks for the letting me know this info is missing.

So it is limited to 50% or does it go from 0-100% power?

I have a multi switch that I can use, and just wondered how it would incorporate into the harness, and how the dimming %age would be adjusted.

Thanks,

Installed!

I just completed the install of the 10 & 20 degree Optimus singles on my 990 Dakar via a SW Motech mount. Took a while since this was the first time for me to "strip" the girl and I am definitely electrically challenged, but this was truly a plug and play install. Fantastic results and a first rate set-up!

Thanks, Darryl!

I have the oval 7" Trail Tech H4 light on my XRL, and have been waiting for a Grill/Cover to protect the light from being cracked by gravel from a bike in front of me. I was told about a year or two ago that you guys were doing R&D on just such an item for this light. I've not seen anything, but did you guys ever develope a guard for this light??????? I sure would like some protection for that big gravel bullseye.

Thanks,
The dimmer we use is a 50% reduction, Not adjustable, I really have a hard time understanding why anyone would want a dial?
Since I do not know what switch or dimmer you have I cant really comment on it. I suggest using the parts that are designed for these lights.

We have sold hundreds of protectors for our Rally light, they have been available The Rally light for at least 2 years. We do not have anything for Trailtech products?
The Rally light will most likely be going away. If you need a protector for the Cyclops Rally light, get ahold of us quickly.

Bike specific Plug and play kits

Although our existing wire harness are pretty much plug and play we see the desire for bike specific kits.
Starting with The BMW GS 650/700/800 we will have bike specific Plug and play kits available very soon.
The kit will include mounts, wire harness and lights.

Why buy Chinese lights when you can get quality, lifetime warrantied products at near the same price?

Optimus 10 & 20 Degree LEDs

Finally got my Optimus LED's installed - it took me a while to make up the bracket. Stainless steel isn't easy to work with!
I'm very impressed with the quality of the kit from the lights to the wiring harness and plugs. The wiring harness was longer than I needed but better than being too short. I was able to safely tuck the extra behind the body work.
I will try to post up a picture of them at night sometime later on but here's a picture of the lights installed for now.
(I'll be keeping an eye out for the F700GS kit for my wife).

Did you find the harness and directions to be easy to fallow/install?
Approx 2 weeks for the GS700/800 kit

The harness was very straight forward and easy to install. The directions were great ....had a look at them after the installation!
