Exactly! Katy and I plan to keep this going every year. We even have some locations pinned for the next couple of years.
Shelly thank you for attempting to maintain the original intent of this event, something casual and folksy just for girls. As I recall we had several ladies interested in hosting subsequent events. You are doing a great job facilitating this event and the discussion. Thank-you for carrying on!

Sounds like you have picked your theme song.

I notice this is the weekend in between the BMW Rally in Salem...and the Sound Rider Rally in Stevenson. Interesting timing !

I met Tracy from PSSOR last year - very helpful and inspiring. I am also thinking about the PSSOR Women's ADV camp May 17-20...anyone been / done that?

Happy riding!

I now have the time free to do the Women's Camp. I've thought about doing it for a couple years, but the timing never worked. I've been riding for a couple years, but know that I still have a lot to learn. I'm thinking about taking my G650 GS. It will making doing things on my 250 seem like a piece of cake.

I think t-shirts would be GREAT...what in the world is a "3D" t-shirt? Do I have to wear funny paper glasses under my riding glasses to read them?

Any t-shirts we wear are 3D.

The guys.....hmm.....not so much. More like a "lower case 3d" for them

Double "D" i'll believe but 3D....Wowser.....watch out for the rough trails.

As for us I think it's more of a lower case "b" than a "d"... We are always told to get in shape. I've been to school, so I know stuff. "Pear" is a shape....

Hi Shelly, it was not my intent to market any "fee for Service" and I am sorry if it came across that way. I was responding to MotoFlica's comment about the all woman's ADV camp.

I met several of lady riders from here at a previous event and we had a great weekend. I was excited to see this adv ride posted and the opportunity to see some of the ADV friends I had met and to meet new friends.

I love this sport and am always excited to assist anyone in getting into it. I know it can be a bit challenging in the beginning to get in to it.

I think it is awesome that you are organizing this and it sounds like it will be a great time.

Best,
Tracy

Thanks for getting me straightened out Apple Jam...It would have been so embarrassing to show up with funny paper glasses!

T shirts

Here's the link to the t-shirt design. Looks like each shirt will be under $18 if we order at least 10 shirts. What do y'all think?
