what does a motor cycle mechanic earns in Europe

Hi Guys

just sussing out what a good motor bike mechanic earns inn Europe

No mods i am not advertising for a mechanic just want to get an idea of the going rate for a GOOD mechanic. say some one with BMW and KTM knowledge with honda throwen in. and maybe Harley D.

Reason....
Thinking of doing something this way where customer service and good old fashion, reliable servicing does not exist.

thanks

If you pay that per week I might concider some re-education

He means per month, netto. I Belgium that would mean it would cost the employer almost double with taxes and social security and all.

Laugh

Like I said on tips and working on the side, I have to pay around € 80-120 per work unit Ca 45 min, when I put my bike in to get it repaired / serviced, now if the mechanic got that thay would be happy
but that's life.

If you would like to know what I get for my €'s read this
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=654963
but not all mechanic's work like this I just have bad luck with this lot, how ever it's the only Triumph store around here, so it will be an never ending story

Well, Europe is a continent, not a country, and there will be a big difference between for instance Norway and Romania.
I don't know any amounts, but I think it's safe to assume that working as a motorbike mechanic will not make you rich anywhere in Europe, (at least not in relation to the cost of living in the particular country).

If you are a good mechanic, you'll be able to earn a decent amount of money. You'll never be rich, but at least you'll have fun during work.
This goes for Holland, Belgium and Germany.

Here on the West Coast of Canada a good experienced (10+ yrs) wrench will make $25-$30 hr (CDN$) tops. Not a lot of money considering how much it cost to live here compared to other regions of the country.
