Sounds like you need to pack some firewood on the DRZ. I hereby appoint Effer as chief wood packer.

I just called them and they have bundles of wood for sale. $7.00

Any 640 Enduros or Advs around Boise?

I'm looking to upgrade from my '05 KLR and after doing some reading, I think the KTM 640 would fill the bill for something more dirt-worthy and powerful that fits my budget. I'm leaning toward the E versus the Adventure, but the truth is, I've never even looked at either one up close! I'm wondering if anyone nearby would be up for showing me theirs and sharing their experiences with the bike.

Note: I'm not looking for any free test rides here, just a look and a visit.
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks. Yeah, I've seen that listing, and it looks really sharp, but it's a little outside my price range. In fact I've been searching Craigslist in surrounding areas (far and wide, actually) for low-mileage E models. They are hard to find. I'm just hoping to have a look at one before I make a long drive for a possible purchase.

Mid 60's for this weekends ride. That's going to be kind of hard to take.

It was 16 at my place this morning.

I am packed and ready to go!
Bring something for lunch on Saturday because we will be in the middle of nowhere about lunch time.

Trailrider. OK, the weather is clearing up and I don't want to waste a week sitting around so I am heading out towards Utah midweek, on my own.

That said, I'll catch you later,

Provided the bike starts in the morning... YES! I spent the day waking it up from hibernation.

It's happened. We've hatched a little family of bikes. Mine, below, will be under construction for couple weeks. Little Brenna pinned the throttle on her XR50 straight out of the shoot. As expected. Typical new rider thing. Fortunately just a fast walk to catch her. TTR110 for the boy that he'll see for the first time today. The TTR is a fun little ride around the culdesac.

See you out there soon!

WR250 on Warm Spgs Guy in Hi Viz Jacket

To the guy who rides down Warm Springs after work on a plated WR250 in a hi viz jacket and stands up on his pegs by the storage units until he goes around the curve by the golf course: I highly recommend Nate Fisher's saddles.
