Laugh First ride for 2013

Today was to the second of 40+ degree days in a row, so I blasted a path out of the drive way and went 50 miles north to get some chicken wings

First time since October the bike has been outside

Stopped by Buell Road for the obligatory photo ...

Glad it is not much over 40 degrees here, if it was much hotter the snow melt might be a problem

My destination, The World Famous Osceola Hotel

Just a quick 100 mile day, but it was what the doctor ordered

Went to The City yesterday for the Aerostich Popup store.

Glad I went with the XB9 primary, worked way better on the steep hills here.

Dumped the Buell on Saturday doing some slow speed work in a school parking lot. I was making a slow speed, tight left hand u-turn and over I went.

Definitely more difficult to ride the Uly slow than my previous bike. Takes a lot higher revs and more clutch work.

XB9 primary gearing really helps with that! Those scares give it that ruff & ready look.

Not here either. Good low end for steep hills. Still motors along at around 3.7K rpm at 70mph.

+1

The XB9 primary is what the Uly should have had from the beginning.

Thanks, here's a really crappy video because I'm too cheap to buy a GoPro and used my RAM mounted p & s camera.
