What the Uly appears to require is a better fuel map just off idle.

Had taller gears on carburetted S1's and S2's and they pulled away cleanly... even with a passenger... in 2nd gear.

Shortening the gears to accomodate poor low speed fuel mapping is a cumbersome workaround with negative consequenses at higher operating speeds.

imho, ymmv, fwiw,

Not a stupid question, I seen your tag line showing your location as Finland, Thats why I added the EZ Pass link. Think of it as a tax tag

Anyone on here have a Uly XT that they added the headlight grille to? I just put one on this week. Hoping to post pics soon. Not a huge difference but I like the grille look.

XT with headlight grille. Also new sliders, EBR ecm (relocated) and a Hawk exhaust.

(edit: grill looks more badass on the X unfortunately)

Hi guys,

I took my Uly for a long run to see a fellow Buell forum member who kindly helped me with solving the misfire I had. It turned out to be the front HT lead which had rubbed and worn through the insulation. We also notice whilst changing spark plugs that my rear plug threat is partially stripped!
We got a new plug in and tight and it did hold on my 90mile return ride, but i think this will require a repair....

I took only two pics all day but the is at the White Horse hill near Avebury, UK.

So in named that picture: Dark Horse @ White Horse!

Anyway, got to get one thing sorted out!
I will check my options for thread repair etc.
Thx Lars

That looks pretty nice! I like the black on the Uly better than the blue I have.
