Beware the inverted nipple.

Flopping on a new Tourance and decided to replace the nipple.
A bit of a D'oh moment, thought it might be appreciated in here.

I'm guessing you picked up a case of beers instead of a 6 pack for this project.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that does stupid mistakes...like the last time I changed my tires. I installed it backwards the first time...ok, stupid mistake, thought I checked. I removed the tire, checked up and down, and then reinstalled it...backwards again!! Holy hell I was pissed. 3rd time was a charm though. and yes I was sober.

No matter how good you are, or how much experience you have, anyone is likely to make simple mistakes given the law of averages.

Personally I have installed tires backwards more than twice, among the numerous little mistakes I have made!

I think you're on to something- we two valves on each wheel, one to put air in, one to let air out.... Welcome to the world of senior moments. You're never too young to err.

DOH!

We've all had brain cramps like that. It least you noticed before you spooned the bead back on and attempted to air up.
