Elite CH150 Fuel Gauge

Is there a way to make the fuel gauge jump up and down with a multimeter. It is stuck in the middle and I think the tank censor is shot because my tank was super rusty. Any help would be awesome. Mahalo

So my fuel gauge goes up and down when I touch the wires together that come from the gauge. But I'm guessing that the tank sensor is shot. Does anyone know if I can replace the sensor with an aftermarket GY6? Or one from another elite model. The only ones for sale on eBay are $80. So the GY6 ones cost $15. Thanks.

Write to jack@jacksscootershop.com. He sells parts and maybe can help you. Or you could take out the float and clean it, and clean it, and then clean it. It might need cleaning. Or, like some stuff, it could be broken.
