Are these bikes any good? Can you still get parts for them? I found two for sale,a package deal, both running and on the road. I sold my XT500,dumb mistake. Are these Honda's as reliable and trouble free as the XT's? Any opinions on the would be appreciated.
Pretty Good I'd say. Have sold the XL on, still have the XT. XL was purchased as a non runner after 10 years in a shed. Fresh fuel 20 kicks and viola!

Regular use saw her easy to start and stone reliable. Comparing the XL350 to XT500, XL350-Lighter, more top heavy, less grunt, more top end. Better build than the XT. This was a time during which Honda built great motorcycles. Can't help with parts availability as mine was complete

My uncle rides a early 1980s XL350 and he did most of the Washington Back Country Discovery route this year on it. Slow on the highway but a blast in the bush. He had an electrical problem when the rear blinker wire was worn half way through and started to short. Fixed it on the trail with electrical tape and no big deal. His bike is shorter than my 1995 DR350 and pulls almost as hard. Good bikes!

I know the CR125's had the 23" front tire. My friend had one. Not sure of the year, but it had the red engine in it. Think 79, dual shocks.

This is it I'm pretty sure.

Yokomo, man your XL is beautiful. I sure wish we could find new plastics in the correct color for the bike. What tire size are you running and what tires?

Does anyone know if the XR350 ims foot pegs will bolt onto the XL350? I need wider pegs for sure.
