Does your fork rotate
So i was looking at my bike's r1200 forks (08) compared to my buddies (07), both GS non GSAs and my my forks rotate and his do not. I got a little worried about this. Does any one know any thing about it?? it is the upper fork section that rotates compared to the steering stem. I tried to post pics but this is my first pic post so please bear with me if it does not work.
Cheers, and thanks for all the help in advance

There is a locknut under that black plastic cap on top of the upper fork bridge.
There should be a small notch somewhere on the edge, just big enough to pry it off with the tip of a small screwdriver.
The nut should be torqued to 30 ft-lbs.
The nut is on top of a rubber bushing in the fork bridge. The bushings tend to loosen up a little with age and being under tension.
Don't over-torque the nut to try to stop them from turning. If the torque is good, just let it be.

Hola amigo. They all do that.
(Me a 2010 GSA.) Part of the quirky design. The tubes are not holding the load, only direcing it.
